What do bed bug droppings look like?
Bed bug droppings are tiny black or dark brown dots, about the size of a full stop, often in clusters along mattress seams, labels, bed frame joints and the backs of headboards. They are digested blood, so they soak into fabric and smear like a felt-tip pen if you wipe them with a damp cloth. Mould and dirt do not smear in the same way.
